"Bustin' Outta Brooklyn" - A Memoir by Francis Chester-Cestari (audio, narrated by Francis Chester himself)
$24.95

Brooklyn to me is both a physical place located in the westernmost part of Long Island with access to Manhattan and also a mental place of confinement and servitude, the antithesis of freedom. Many people in life experience a time of being Brooklynized – that is, stuck either in physical or mental subjugation. It can be an association with a job you have, or a relationship or possibly an addiction that keeps you in servitude. It is a place that prevents you from being a God created, free human being. Many times it is very difficult to bust out of a Brooklynized situation, but as this book will disclose, it is never impossible. Difficult yes, but it’s never impossible. I truly believe that all people should never have to endure a mental Brooklyn in their lives. The physical place known as Brooklyn, New York, had and continues to have special, wonderful characteristics and charms about it. It is close to the financial, publishing, fashion, and banking centers of America, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, libraries, parks, zoos, Eastern Parkway, and Coney Island, a revival of charming residences and sites of the Statue of Liberty and East River. Gone forever are Ebbits Field and other wonderful things such as farms. Yes, at one time Brooklyn was a great agricultural resource. However, it was and will never be for me. I could never be a free me in Brooklyn, and so the physical place called Brooklyn also took on a mentally constrictive place called Brooklyn. If you have a Brooklyn in your life, be it the physical place called Brooklyn or the mental variety, and it has proven to be stifling, join me as we bust out of Brooklyn. I did, and never regretted it.
